And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care ...

I made these quilted Christmas stockings for the boys. They really love them or ... they are just humoring ole' Mom's creative whims again! It is hard to really know for certain ~ LOL!

Of course, sweet Colton made a point of commenting that Jase's stocking has a yellow star button while his has "only a plain old round yellow one". So the search begins for another star button to top Colton's tree. What fun ~ more reasons to visit the thrift and craft shops in town!

Blessings,
Lea

Love the stockings, Lea! Isn't it funny what children notice????? I still have my stocking that my Mother made me when I was little. My complaint about mine????? My name was too short! My two sisters were Jurilei and Johanna. Thought my name is Cornelia, I was always called Cora and that is what was on my stocking. So I didn't have as much embroidery work as they did!!!!! Strange that I noticed that!

Tell Colton that it's what goes INSIDE the stocking that REALLY counts!!!! Any old sock will do!
