What could be sweeter ...

... than a basket of kitties?

These little cuties are the newest additions to our homeplace. Aren't they precious?

Postscript: For those of you that expressed your concern, though we can't spray and neuter every stray cat that visits us for a while, this Mama Cat does have an appointment with the vet to be spayed after these little kitties are weaned. Looks like she is a keeper for sure! :)

Blessings,
Lea

Lea,
How cute is that??? How many are you keeping? Did you know you had them? Did the Mother have them hidden? I'm so excited, I want to come over, I can fold the laundry while I play with the kitties.

Oh, Lea!!!!! That just made my day today!!!!! I'll take the little orange and white one --- no --- I'll take the whole basket full! What a bunch of sweeties. Juri has a litter somewhere --- we haven't found them yet and Mommy is keeping it a secret. These look so snuggly and loveable! In fact, I would name the orange and white one Snuggles!

PS: Can't wait to try the rolls!

The kittens are so sweet. Though this opinion is not shared by everyone, I must add that there are so many cats in shelters everywhere that they cannot handle them. My sister has FOUR that she has rescued (they now are inside cats) and also leaves food out for the many feral cats in her area (she lives in the country). I'm sure your kittens are very fortunate, but I urge as many people as possible to have their cats "fixed" and adopt at their local shelter if they want more. This subject weighs heavy on my heart and I hope it is not taken the wrong way. I truly love animals and would have a bundle if lived in the country! Love your blog and look forward to reading it every day.

AWWWWW...they are darling! We have 2 cats and they are spoiled rotten. Don't know how they ever got that way....HMMMMM...must have been DH! One is a Maine Coon and weighs 22 pounds and is scared of his own shadow..LOL The other one is a Siberian and is 8 pounds. She follows us around like a dog. She is sooo nosy! Good thing those cute little kittens aren't mine...I'd spoil them rotten, too...OOOPS, I forgot...that was my husband that spoiled ours not me...LOL

How in the world did you get all of them to stay in the basket long enough to photograph? They are adorable! Nothing sweeter that babies (of any kind) in the Spring!
Happy birthday again :)
