My Graduates

I just had to share photos of my graduates this year ~ Jase from High School and Luke from 8th grade. It is been such a joy to homeschool these boys. We've made so many memories and had so much fun! They are joys to my life.

AND in the spirit of being frugal minded, I just couldn't spend (or afford) the $150.00 per child to have their photos taken by a professional so I took them ourselves in our own backyard. I am so pleased, and the boys were much more natural and relaxed. I just had to share that last photo of them as they attempted to untangle their tassles!

Blessings,
Lea

Congratulations Jase & Luke!
Very nice pictures! You did a great job, Lea. Who needs a professional? The only time I had a professional photographer was our little wedding ceremony(remarried) when my parents came to visit. They couldn't make it when we first got married(which was just a small justice ceremony). So when they finally made it here to visit me, my husband decided that it would be a nice thing to do for them. So it was just the 4 of us for the ceremony.

Are you still crying? I went through that last year and then had to adjust to being an empty nester. I wanted to let you know I'm having a give-away for July 4th and it is primitive stitchery, thought you'd want to register. You can also post my give-away on your blog if you'd like. Have a blessed day and enjoy the summer with your boys, Rose

Congratulations go out to your boys!

I thought you did a pretty good job with their pictures.

Professional photographers are way over rated. Who needs those when you have a nifty digital camera? Hee hee hee :-)

Did the boys have a cake or gifts for the celebration?

Have a blessed weekend and Sabbath!

Congratulations to both Jase and Luke! They are both great looking boys! Luke actually reminds me of Colton...they favor some!

I took Colt's senior graduation photos myself too (by his request even) and I felt the same..that he was much more relaxed even though I wore him out! I'm so glad I did. Sometime I'll have to share a couple with you!

Have a great weekend, Lea!

Dear Lea,
You have raised some handsome young men there. What an accomplishment!
Congratulate both of them for me for their hard work. I have a Jase too or at least that we call him. He was named Jason and my brother has a Luke.
I wanted to comment on your last post and ask you if you know if this soft scrub could be used on the sealed glass cooktops? I am trying to get all my cleaning products as natural as I can.
Once again I really love your blog you are so encouraging and your photography is fantastic.

Congratulations to both graduates and their awesome teacher!

Looking back, I wish I hadn't spent the money on professional portraits - candids speak much louder and I love your pictures.

Such handsome young men! Your photos are perfect. I think with digital photography, many people are getting away from professional photographers. You can do so much more yourself. But, of course, you have wonderful subjects and an ideal backdrop.
Congratulations to both young men!
Wish I could have been there!
